Chad Byers (New Matamoras, River) came within one meter of a NCAA Provisional Qualifying mark in the Discus after unleashing a personal record throw of 46.11m (151-03), which placed him fourth overall.
Senior
Derek Carpenter (Belpre, Belpre) took fourth place in the Hammer Throw with a top toss of 44.60m (146-04). Classmate
AJ Pulice (Hubbard, Hubbard) finished ninth in the event with a top mark of 36.75m (120-07).
Freshman
Dana Miller (Frazeyburg, Tri-Valley) set a new personal record in the Long Jump with a leap of 4.74m (15-06.75).
Junior
Matt Hickman (St. Mary's, W.Va., St. Mary's) ran a personal record en route to taking eighth in the 400m Dash. Hickman crossed the line in 50.31 seconds.
Senior
Josh Mickle (Madison, Madison) and sophomore
Terrance Wallace (Westerville, Westerville Central) both set a personal record by more than 25 seconds in the 5.000m Run. Mickle finished 13th with a time of 15:27.89, while Wallace came in 24th with a time of 16:03.23.
Junior
Mehgan Cline (Dublin, Coffman) ran a personal record in her 5,000m Run. Cline covered the distance in 20:26.19.
Action concludes on Saturday (March 5) when 20 more events are contested.
