Falcons Travel To Kalamazoo On Saturday

The Bowling Green State University track and field team will continue their 2010 outdoor season on Saturday, April 3rd, when they travel to Kalamazoo, Mich. for the Jack Shaw Classic, hosted by Western Michigan University.

Bowling Green and Western Michigan will be joined in the quadrangular meet by two other Mid-American Conference foes: Central Michigan and Eastern Michigan. 

Each team will be permitted two scorers for each individual event and one scorer for the two relays.  Scoring for the meet will be 9-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 (9 pointts for first place, 7 points for second place, etc.) for individual events and 9-7-6-5 for the relays.

Field events will begin at 11:00 a.m. at Western Michigan's Kanley Track.  Track events will commence at 2:00 p.m.  A full schedule of events is posted below, with Falcon participants for each event listed.

Last week, the Orange and Brown took second place at the Toledo Collegiate Challenge in their first outdoor meet of the season.  The Falcons won eight of the meet's 20 events, including two victories by junior Heather Conger, who was awarded Papa John's Athlete of the Week honors on Monday.
