MEET RESULTS

Members of the Bowling Green State University men's cross country team were in Hillsdale, Mich. this weekend for the 2010 Hillsdale Relays.  The three-day event ran from Thursday, April 22nd through Saturday, April 24th.

On Friday, several Falcons saw action. 

Junior Erik Kuehner competed in the 400m hurdles and crossed the finish line in 1:01.12.

Meanwhile, junior Jesse Smuda and sophomore Ben Leininger ran in the 5000m Invitational.  In a field of 140 runners, Smuda completed the race in 16:09.03, while Leininger posted a time of 16:53.80.

BGSU also competed in the 4x800 meter relay, finishing 15th out of a total of 19 teams.  The squad of Chris Moody, Abraham Buseini, Jeff Ehler and Pete Miles ran the 3200 meter race in a time of 8:06.21.

On Saturday, BGSU athletes ran in the 800 meters and the 1500 meters.

Junior Chris Moody was the top Falcon finisher in each event.  In the 800 meters, Moody placed 44th out of 71 runners by finishing the run in 2:02.46.  In the 1500 meters, he placed 20th out of 90 entrants, as he recorded a time of 4:02.07. 

Jeff Ehler and Abraham Buseini completed the 800 meters in 2:06.27 and 2:06.87, respecitvely.

In the 1500 meters, sophomore Peter Miles earned 31st place via his time of 4:05.16.  Jason Salyer finished in 4:11.02, while Johnstone Kirui ran the distance in 4:29.37.
