ANN ARBOR, MI - Amanda Kaverman equalled two-time All-American Shantel Ransom's 20-year school record in 100 meter dash, crossing the line in a time of 11.57 on Saturday at the Len Paddock Invitational in Ann Arbor.

Kaverman's time was an NCAA qualifying mark, the second-fastest in the MAC this spring and the tenth-fastest in conference history. The junior also finished second in the event.

"I'm really proud of her and what she's been able to accomplish so far," Kevin Hadsell, head coach, said. "It's really a testament to assistant coach Adam Kiesler and the work he's done with her as well. This is another great performance for our team as we get prepared for the MAC Championships."

Kaverman and the Rockets will compete at the MAC Championships this Thursday-Saturday, hosted by the University at Buffalo.
