In the 200m he went 23.26 in prelims, 23.32 in semis, and 23.20 in the final. In the 400m he ran 51.34 for a PR, finishing second.
This indoor season he ran 7.39 in the 60m to win the SPIRE Middle School Last Chance Meet on February 21st, ran 23.58 in the 200m at the 14 & Under National Championship on February 14th, and leads the state in the 400m at 52.86.

Cody Knaack | Bay MS | Class of 2030 | Shot Put
Knaack won the OHSAA 7th & 8th Grade State Track Meet in the discus last May with a throw of 187-0, after throwing a PR of 188-3 at the Cleveland West Conference MS Championship earlier that month. In the shot put at that same state meet he threw 56-9.50 and finished second. He came into this indoor season opening at 52-9 at the Oberlin College High School Track and Field Meet on January 18th, then 52-8.50 on February 1st. Then on February 21st at the SPIRE Middle School Last Chance Meet, he threw 62-8.50 for a PR and won. That's a 10-foot jump in a single meet and nearly six feet beyond his outdoor state PR from last May.
