GREENSBORO, NC - Amanda Kaverman finished in 45th place in
the 100m dash with a time of 11.86 at the NCAA Regionals on Thursday. The
event is being hosted by North Carolina A&T.
Kaverman
qualified for the regionals with her time of 11.57 at Michigan's Len Paddock
Invitational. That time has her seeded 26th in the East region.
At
the MAC Championships, Kaverman placed second in the 100 with a time of 11.84,
and she won the 100 at the Ohio Team Challenge with a time of 12.01. The
Sylvania, OH native was also the MAC champion in the 200 at both the indoor and
outdoor competitions.
