Ohio Girls Indoor Track Performer of the Week (Mar. 2-8)

After another week of indoor track & field action in Ohio, it's time to vote for the MileSplit Ohio girls performer of the week.

This Week's Nominees:

Katy Zang, Teays Valley (Ohio): Won the 3200 at the OATCCC D1 Indoor State Meet with a state-leading 9:42.84, breaking her PR of 10:17.56 set in January by 35 seconds.

Sophia Szolosi, Athens (Ohio): Swept the distance events at the OATCCC D2 Indoor State Meet, clocking a state-leading 4:49.81 in the 1600 and 10:18.43 in the 3200. Her 3200 time was a new PR, improving from 10:24.43 set last May, and ranks #2 in Ohio.

Celia Schulte, Hil. Davidson (Ohio): Posted 2:09.41 to win the 800 at the OATCCC D1 Indoor State Meet, as Ohio's top-ranked 800 runner continues her strong season.

kadia Rock, SPIRE Academy (Ohio): The state's leading 400 runner turned in 54.44 to win at the SPIRE Nationals Tune-Up.

Azarae Hawkins, Mason (Ohio): Ran a state-leading 7.42 in the 60 at the OATCCC D1 Indoor State Meet, a new PR from 7.44 set in February. She also clocked 24.41 in the 200, ranking #2 in the state behind her earlier season best of 24.24.
