Student-Athletes to Appear at Black Swamp Festival

Team members and coaches of various BGSU Athletic teams can be seen at the 17th annual Black Swamp Festival this weekend.
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio -- One of the city of Bowling Green's largest community events is returning to town this weekend and BGSU Falcon student-athletes will be there to welcome festival goers and the activities planned. Team members and coaches from the Falcon hockey, tennis, women's soccer, swimming, gymnastics, cross country and track teams will be present at this weekend's Black Swamp Festival working various youth art stations in downtown Bowling Green.
Members of the Falcon hockey, tennis and gymnastics teams will be helping children make their very own tie-dye clothing this Saturday (Sept. 11) from 12:45 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in front of the Wood County Library on North Main Street.
The women's soccer team will use their off day between Friday's match against #23 Minnesota and Sunday's match with Cleveland State to work various youth art stations between 12:45 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Women's swimming, cross-country, and track and field athletes will be working at various locations throughout the weekend.
Support BGSU student-athletes and the 17th annual Black Swamp Arts Festival this weekend. The festival begins on Friday, Sept. 10 and carries through Sunday, Sept. 12, 2010.
