John Carroll has raced up to #7 in the latest USTFCCCA Division III Women's Cross Country Great Lakes regional rankings
With early season success at both the CWRU Bill Sudeck Classic and the Walsh University Ric Sayre Invitational, the John Carroll women's cross country team made its first appearance this season in the United States Track & Field/Cross Country Coaches Association regional rankings.
The Blue Streaks entered the Great Lakes Region rankings this week at the number seven spot on the strength of its team title at the Sayre Invitational and its third place showing (behind #4 Case and #6 Baldwin-Wallace) at the Sudeck Classic. John Carroll had been unranked in the preseason poll.
This is the highest John Carroll has been ranked, matching the number seven spot JCU achieved last season just before the NCAA Regional Championships.
