TOLEDO, OH - Men's and women's cross country head coach Kevin Hadsell and assistant coach Sara Vergote join the Rocket Reporter to discuss the upcoming weekend in cross country. The teams will be split, with the top six women traveling with Coach Hadsell to the Richard Clark Invite in Springfield, MO, while Coach Vergote leads the full men's squad and rest of the women's squad to the All-Ohio Championships in Cedarville, OH.

The All-Ohio Championships will take place this Friday at 2 p.m. Toledo will be challenging Ohio's best including MAC rivals and top-15 regionally ranked opponents Miami (No. 8 women, No. 13 men), Akron (No. 11 men) and Ohio (No. 11 women), along with Cincinnati (No. 13 women) and Dayton (No. 10 women). Toledo currently ranks No. 4 in the women's regional poll, while the men's team sits at No. 15.

The top six women runners will compete in the Richard Clark Invitational on Saturday at 10 a.m. in a field that includes the No. 4 nationally-ranked Texax Tech squad, as well as host Missouri State, Southern Illinois-Edwardsville, St. Louis, UMKC, Western Illinois, Wichita State and Missouri Southern State.
