AUSTINTOWN, Ohio — Marietta sophomore #Caleb Muller (Columbus/Bexley)# was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week Monday (Oct. 18) afternoon.

Muller posted a ninth place finish to highlight Marietta College cross country's performance at the 2010 Inter-Regional Rumble, hosted by Oberlin College Saturday (Oct. 16) afternoon. The standout finished the eight-kilometer race in career-best 25:26.3, which is the eighth fastest time in program history. Muller's ninth place finish was 56 spots higher than the previous best Pioneer performance at the meet.

Muller also received the league honor after winning the Carl Broughton Invitational on Sept. 13.

Marietta resumes its season Oct. 30 when the Pioneers compete at the 2010 Ohio Athletic Conference Championship, hosted by Otterbein University.
