11/2/2010 5:23:00 PM

The Toledo women's cross country team, fresh off their third MAC Championship in program history has been voted No. 30 in the latest USTFCCCA national poll. This marks the fifth time the Rockets have been nationally ranked under head coach Kevin Hadsell.

Prior to this week, the Rockets had received votes in the national poll in six of the seven weekly rankings. Being voted into the top-30 marks the first time since 2003 - when they also reached No. 30 - that the Rockets have achieved a national ranking. The highest ranking for Toledo came in 2002, when the Rockets captured their second-straight MAC Championship and ranked No. 26.They were also ranked No. 29 and No. 28 in 2000 and 2001, respectively.

The Rockets will continue their efforts on the course in two weeks, when they will compete at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional in Rochester, Mich. on Nov. 13.
