The Bowling Green State University men's cross country team saw its season cross the finish line on Saturday (Nov. 13) at the 2010 NCAA Division I Great Lakes Regional in Rochester, Michigan.

Among a group of 31 teams running the 10K race at the Katke-Cousins Golf Course, the Falcons placed 25th.

Senior Chris Moody concluded his Bowling Green career by registering the Falcons' top time.  His time of 32:58.12 slightly outpaced the times of 33:05.76 by sophomore Jason Salyer and 33:07.02 by graduate student Rob Kelvey.

Fellow senior Jesse Smuda's final race ended in 34:20.02.  He was followed by Greg Black (34:52.89), Josh Franek (35:17.20) and senior Jeff Ehler (37:29.90).

Oakland University, the regional host, placed 16th overall.  Eastern Michigan recorded the Mid-American Conference's best team finish as they placed 11th.  The other six MAC schools at the meet placed between 15th and 20th.

Wisconsin and Indiana earned automatic berths to the NCAA Championship meet by virtue of finishing first and second overall.  The top four individuals who are not part of the automatic qualifying teams or teams who receive at-large berths will earn individual spots in the championship meet.

The top 25 individual finishers were named All-Region.
