BGSU Track and Field Gets First Taste of Action This Weekend

The Bowling Green State University track and field team gets an opening sample of the upcoming 2011 season on Friday and Saturday (Dec. 3-4) when the team travels to Findlay, Ohio for the Oiler Opener.

BGSU will send three athletes to compete in throwing events.  Jessie Rowland, Ashley Harris and Paige Lane will each compete in the weight throw on Friday night at 7:00 p.m., while Rowland and Harris will take part in the shot put competition on Saturday morning in the 11:30 a.m. group of events.

All meet events will take place in the Malcolm Athletic Center on the University of Findlay campus.

Results from the meet will be posted on BGSUFalcons.com after the conclusion of action on Saturday.
