Ohio high school track and field athletes posted several personal records and school records during competition from April 13-18.
Mason Mishak (Steele) ran 10.74 in the 100 meters at the HS Dual MLS vs O. Falls on April 15, dropping from his previous best of 12.07 set in April 2025. The junior ranks #14 in Ohio and #7 among juniors statewide.
Mathew Kramer (Ellet) threw 146-7 in the discus at Trinity/Holy Name/Ellet on April 14, improving from 114-2 set in May 2025. The junior ranks #116 in Ohio and also set a personal record in the shot put with 39-7, up from 36-6.
Madison Jones (Dayton Early College Academy) ran 14.94 in the 100m hurdles at the Springfield Wildcat Classic on April 18, improving from 16.24 set in March 2026. The freshman ranks #10 in Ohio and #1 among freshmen while setting a school record.
Kamara Steward (Warrensville Heights) clocked 14.54 in the 100m hurdles at the Walsh Jesuit John Hasenstab Warrior Relays on April 18, dropping from her previous best of 16.05. The senior ranks #3 in Ohio and #2 among seniors statewide.
