Chris Uhle, a senior from Olentangy Liberty High School has chosen to continue his education and track and field career at Virginia Tech. Uhle is the defending Division 1 State Champ in the Pole Vault by soaring 16-9 to capture the gold medal and set the All-Time state record.
Uhle's vault was the fifth best vault in the nation last year by a high schooler and the top returning mark in the nation this season. Uhle's season best vault of 16-6 this indoor season currently ranks him fourth in the nation among high school athletes. Uhle is also a talented runner, he qualified to the state meet in the 800m Run. Uhle's personal record in the 800m Run is 1:55.96.
