
Falcon Runners Compete At Akron Invitational

Several members of the Bowling Green State University men's cross country team saw cross-over track and field action on Saturday, Feb. 12 in Akron, Ohio at the 2011 Akron Invitational.
Peter Miles finished 20th in the mile run with a time of 4:30.24, while Luke Zerkle completed the distance in 4:42.51.
Greg Black produced the top finish of the day for the Falcons when he placed 15th in the 3000m race. He earned the finish by posting a mark of 9:08.74. Josh Franek also finished in the top 20, as he crossed the finish in 9:29.90 for 19th place. Perry Fraylick (9:48.92) placed one spot behind Franek.
Ryan Harrison, competing for the first time with the Falcons, took the team's top spot in the 5000m run. His time of 16:02.98 earned 20th place. Jesse Smuda (16:08.97) and Joe van Bolderen (17:43.16) also competed for the Orange and Brown.
