McKenzie Montgomery (Gibsonburg) cleared 11-0 in the pole vault at OHSAA Division 5 Districts in Gibsonburg on May 21, improving from her previous best of 10-0 set in April. The junior's mark ranks #55 among 1,203 Ohio athletes and #19 among 301 juniors statewide. Montgomery won the event among 12 competitors.
Alison Hemmelgarn (Celina) ran 14.35 in the 100-meter hurdles at OHSAA Division 3 Districts in Napoleon on May 21, improving from her previous best of 14.84. The freshman's time ranks #9 among 2,120 Ohio athletes and #1 among 643 freshmen statewide, setting a school record.
