This Week's Nominees:
Parker Bowe, Malvern (Ohio): Swept both throws at OHSAA D5 Districts in Nelsonville-York, winning the shot put with a 62-0 effort and the discus at 154-2. His shot put mark ranks him as the #2 junior in Ohio in the event.
Jay'Vier Kerr, Glenville (Ohio): Dominated three events at OHSAA D3 Districts in Bay, posting a state-leading 21.40 in the 200m while also winning the 400m in 47.70 and the long jump at 23-5.25. The versatile senior swept his events in impressive fashion across sprints and field.
Ethan Ireland, Centerville (Ohio): Cleared 16-7 to win the pole vault at the Centerville High Jump/Pole Vault Meet.
Austin Browning, Buckeye Valley (Ohio): Posted dual hurdles victories at OHSAA D2/D3 Districts in Hilliard Darby, clocking 37.16 to win the 300m hurdles and 14.38 in the 110m hurdles. His 300m hurdles time topped a field of 59 competitors.
Logan Border, Field (Ohio): Ran 13.89 to win the 110m hurdles at OHSAA D3 Districts in Woodridge, a time that ranks him as the #3 junior in Ohio in the event.
