Ohio Outdoor Breakthrough Performances: Week of May 25

Several Ohio high school athletes recorded personal bests at meets during the week of May 25.

Bekah Rehm (Bluffton) cleared 11-0 in the pole vault at the OHSAA D4 Regional R11 in Marion on May 27, improving from her previous best of 10-0. The mark ranks her 57th in Ohio and 20th among juniors statewide. Rehm placed fourth of 14 competitors.

Joey Dietsch (Pleasant) ran 9:31.70 in the 3200 meters at the OHSAA D4 Regional R11 in Marion on May 27, lowering his previous best of 9:55.22 set in May. The time is a school record for Pleasant and ranks 66th in Ohio and 24th among juniors. Dietsch finished fourth of 16 competitors.
