Ohio Girls Cross Country Performer of the Week (Aug. 24-30)

After another week of cross country racing in Ohio, it's time to vote for the MileSplit Ohio girls cross country performer of the week.

This Week's Nominees:

Alexis Schultz, Perrysburg (Ohio): A 5K clocking of 18:14.70 at the HS-Norm Bray Invitational was enough to take first place out of 194 finishers, with 18.7 seconds separating first from second. The mark also sits at No. 3 of 673 athletes in MileSplit's database at Walsh Park XC Course since 2019, and it improved her prior time on this course by 23.4 seconds.

Isabella Stueve, Maumee Va. C.D. (Ohio): The Obie Mouser Defiance Early Bird victory came by 46.1 seconds over a 131-runner field, with the 5K covered in 19:14.80. That effort ranks No. 7 of 723 athletes in MileSplit's database at Defiance HS XC Course since 2019 and cut 31.4 seconds off her previous time there.

Beth Baker, Upper Arlington (Ohio): Crossing first among 334 finishers in the 5K at the Pickerington North XC Classic, the winning margin was 12.6 seconds in a time of 18:22.40. The performance places No. 23 of 4,468 athletes in MileSplit's database at Pickerington North High School since 2019, improving her own mark on this course by 9.2 seconds.

Annabelle Snyder, Rittman (Ohio): At the Keystone Icebreaker, a 5K time of 19:35.50 was good for first place out of 129 finishers, with a 21.6-second margin separating first from the rest. The result ranks No. 6 of 454 athletes in MileSplit's database at Lorain County Equestrian Center since 2019.

Sadie Schultz, Fairfield Union (Ohio): The Newark Catholic Invitational produced a first-place finish in the 5K in 19:45.60, ahead of a 125-runner field by 21.3 seconds. That time stands No. 11 of 1,173 athletes in MileSplit's database at Bryn Du Mansion since 2019.
