Entry Standards
There is not a strict entry standard/mark for the meet, but there are guidelines that Spire will be using to determine the field. They are:

a. First Priority : Returning State Scorers (Indoor or Outdoor)
b. 2nd : Returning State Qualifiers (Indoor or Outdoor)
c. 3rd : Athletes currently in the Top 10-15 on Ohio/Milesplit Indoor Performance List

 

Entry fee/cost
$5 per accepted athlete. This $5 payment also allows you entry to the Spire Division 1 College Meet that will be finishing up prior to the HS Showcase meet.


Field Size
The field size is limited to the approximately the top 20-24 athletes per event. This is designed to be a quick, compact meet to highlight top athletes throughout the state and the region.

 

**** D1 Coaches who will be here now include  USNA, U of Minnesota, Cornell, W. VA, Ohio State, PA State, Michigan, Pitt, Michigan State, Buffalo, SMU, Purdue, Akron, Kent State, Youngstown, West. Ky and E. Carolina
