The course could be classified as challenging. The layout is reasonably flat with some rolling grass paths (3-5 meters wide) and a few short and steep uphill and downhill areas. Races are contested 99% on grass with average to below average footing. There are a couple very brief road crossings. The course runs through open fields, and adjacent to wooded areas and agricultural fields. There is also a small creek crossing for the 5k and 8k courses. Spikes are highly recommended.
