Welcome to the St. Xavier Invitational

September 29, 2012

This is the 33rd anniversary of the St. Xavier Cross Country Invitational, and we would like to
continue the tradition of a fun meet with outstanding competition. If you have already contacted
us, we look forward to hosting you. If you are still interested in attending, please see the

The registry deadline is September 23 at 5:00 PM. If you have questions, please email

Results: Results will be posted at the north end of the stadium after each race, followed
by a reasonable time for appeal.

Course: The course will be an accurately measured 5k or 2 mile course (for the junior high)
with the finish in the football stadium. In general the course is flat with very small uphills and
downhills.

8:30 jr. high open girls

8:55 jr. high open boys
9:20 jr. hi. girls team race
9:45 jr. hi. boys team race
10:10 girls' open
10:15 Awards to junior high teams
10:45 girls' var. Div. 2
11:15 girls' var. Div. 1
11:45 boys' var. Div. 2
12:15 boys' var. Div. 1
12:45 boys' open
1:15 Awards for all high school races

Please note: to speed up awards ceremony, the t-shirts will be passed out
in the chute immediately after races. Plaques and team awards will be
presented at awards ceremonies.

Team awards: Trophies will be awarded to the top three teams in all team races and the two
high school open races in addition to the awards noted above.

Meet Packet: Please pick up your packet in the concession stand at the north end of the stadium.

Entry Fees:

$75 for varsity girls (includes open race)
$75 for varsity boys (includes open race)
$50 for junior high boys / $50 for junior high girls teams
$5 per individual for any team with fewer than 10 participants

Directions:


From the North:
Take I75 south to Paddock Rd., exit 9.
Turn right off the exit ramp onto Paddock Rd.
Almost immediately move into the far left lane to turn left onto North Bend Rd.
Stay on North Bend for about a mile and a half.
The school is at the top of a large hill on the right.

From the South:
Take I75 north to Paddock Rd., exit 9.
Turn left off the exit ramp onto Paddock Rd.
After the 75 overpass move into the far left lane to turn left onto North Bend Rd.
Stay on North Bend for about a mile and a half.
The school is at the top of a large hill on the right.

Apparel: Souvenir t-shirts will be sold throughout the meet.

Concessions: Concessions for runners and spectators will be available in the stadium. A
coaches concession area will be open throughout the day in the locker room at
the north end of the stadium.

Restrooms:

Restrooms will be available in the stadium, and portable toilets will be available
near the starting line.

Medical Staff: A certified athletic trainer will be available at the finish line, and EMS will be
on-call during the day.
