LES EISENHART XC INVITATIONAL at Thomas Worthington High School.
The Les Eisenhart XC Invitational is the home meet for the Thomas Worthington Cardinals and is named in honor of Ohio Hall of Fame Coach Eisenhart who taught and coached both cross country and track for over 30 years. As a teacher, coach, and mentor to uncounted students, we are proud to honor his legacy.

Les Eisenhart attended and ran for Columbus North High School and The Ohio State University. He began coaching cross country and track during the 1941-1942 school year in Port Clinton. He moved back to Central Ohio and began coaching cross country and track in Worthington beginning in 1946 and would do so until 1979. During that time, his cross country teams won 24 league titles and 18 district championships, including two individual state meet champions. In 1968, the Cardinals won the team title in cross country. His track and field teams also won twenty league titles and seven district titles, including five individual state meet champions.
