MEET INFORMATION
ENTRIES
All entries will be completed through Direct Athletics (www.directathletics.com).
Only current high school student-athletes shall compete.
No entry limit per team.
No entries will be accepted on meet day.
The entry fee is calculated based on the number of entries submitted. If you scratch someone after the deadline
you will still be responsible for that entry.
There are no refunds for athletes who do not compete or scratch after the entry deadline.
DEADLINE
The entry period on Direct Athletics will close on Thursday, Jan. 12 at noon.
Please enter accurately to avoid reseeding on meet day.
PAYMENT
Payment will be accepted on meet day. Cash and checks accepted. Make checks out to OWU Track & Field.
Flat charge of $10.00 per athlete. Athletes may enter up to 3 events.
Relays: $20.00 per relay
The entry fee for a team (15 athletes or more) is $150 per gender. Therefore, the maximum entry fee for a
combined boys' and girls' team is $300.

TIMING: Finish Lynx
FACILITY: The 200 meter track is a Beynon full-pour encapsulated surface with four 36 lanes on the oval and five 42
lanes on the straight. High jump is on the infield - spikes cannot be used. The pole vault runway is a standard roll-out
surface accommodating a 120 approach. The long jump runway is on the backstretch of the track with painted boards at
8, 28, 32, & 38.
SEEDING: All heats/flights seeded according to performance. Throws and horizontal jumps will consist of four attempts
with no finals.
IMPLEMENT WEIGH-IN: Will take place at the event site at the west end of the field house. Certification will take place
from 8:00-10:00am.
CLERKING: Check-in for all running events will take place near the finish line. Field events report to event area.
PARKING: Busses and vans should unload behind Branch Rickey Arena (bldg. #55 on the campus map), but park in the
Meek Natatorium lot (#58) or the Selby Stadium lot (#56). Teams will enter through the main arena entrance.

TEAM CAMPS: Team camps and all food will be restricted to the racquetball courts in the arena. Only water can be
brought into field house. Teams will be assigned a court to set up camp.
RESTROOMS: Restrooms are located in the Branch Rickey Arena Lobby.
SPIKES: Maximum pyramid in spikes. No spikes or blocks on tennis courts (including high jumpers).
BLOCKS: Starting blocks (UCS Grand Prix) will be provided.
TRAINERS: Trainers will not be stationed at the track, but will be on call in the facility. Ice will be available, but please
provide your own bag.
CONCESSIONS: Available in the Arena lobby
