2019 COAL Meet Information

GENERAL INFORMATION & SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

Entries: Entries must be submitted online using the Online Entry Form at

Entry window opens on April 15 and closes at 9 pm on 4/25

Scratches & Substitutions can be done before meet but please keep these to a minimum.

There is no entry limit.

Teams: Central College Christian Academy, Columbus School for Girls, Columbus Torah Academy,

              Cypress Christian School, Genoa Christian Academy, Grace Christian School, Liberty Christian Academy,                    New Hope Christian Academy, Oakstone Academy, Polaris Christian Academy, St. John's Lutheran

Awards: Team Trophy traveling trophy to 1st place team

Individual Awards - 1st through 6th place ribbons

(Scoring: 10 - 8 - 6 - 5 - 4 - 3 - 2 - 1)

Field Events: Shot Put, Discus, Long Jump - four attempts per individual,

Open pit for 45 minutes

High Jump - Girls will start at: 3' 8 then 2" to completion

                      Boys will start at: 4' 8 then 2" to completion

Running Events: (Girls followed by Boys)

100 Meter Hurdles/110 Meter Hurdles

100 Meter Dash

1600 Meter Run

400 Meter Relay (4 x 100)

400 Meter Dash

800 Meter Relay (4 x 200)

200 Meter Hurdles

800 Meter Run

200 Meter Dash

1600 Meter Relay (4 x 400)

Times: 9:45 A.M. Coaches meeting (Near finish line tent)

10:00 A.M. Field Events: Girls: Shot Put and Long Jump

Boys: Discus and High Jump

(Girls Discus and High Jump after Boys)

(Boys Shot Put and Long Jump after Girls)

10:15 A.M. Running Events (all races timed finals)

Starting Blocks: Regular International style starting blocks provided

Restricted Areas: No athletes, coaches or spectators on the infield

Results:Times will not be given at the finish line, they will be posted on the shed wall. Results will also be posted online and emailed out the following day.

Parking: Bus parking is available at the lower level at the bottom of the hill. Overflow parking for parents is located at the Lacrosse fields, near the entrance of Kirk campus.

Gate Fee: Adults: $3.00 per person

                 Seniors & Students: $2.00 per person
