Meet Information
The meet will start with the following field events at 4:30pm:
Session 1: Boys Shot Put, Girls Discus, Boys High Jump (starting height: 46), Girls Pole Vault, and Open Pit for both Boys and Girls Long Jump for 1-2 hours.
Session 2: Girls Shot Put, Boys Discus, Girls High Jump (starting height: 4) and Boys Pole Vault will begin immediately after the completion of Session 1.
In the Pole Vault, starting heights will be discussed and agreed upon by the pole vault coaches before competition begins. Spectators will be allowed to sit in the bandshell to watch the Pole Vault competition. Please, be careful when crossing the track to get to the bandshell.
The 4x800m relay will begin at 4:30pm with check-in for all running events taking place at the start/finish line with the exception of the 100 and 110 hurdles, 100m, 200m and 300 hurdles. Those events will check in at their respective starting lines.
Track and Field Covid Requirements per OHSAA
Participants not in the contest and coaches ARE REQUIRED to wear facial coverings* on the sideline and to be socially distanced. *NOTE: Refer to the Sports Order for exceptions for the facial coverings requirement.
Outside of game play, players are NOT PERMITTED to have physical contact with their teammates (such as high-fives and handshakes). Coaches and other team personnel are also not permitted to have physical contact with players.
Any spectators in attendance ARE REQUIRED to wear facial coverings and to be socially distanced.
Family and household members should sit together socially distanced from other individuals/family household groups.
Facilities/venues ARE REQUIRED to develop spectator pathways that allow for social distancing along with seating that includes staggered rows and six-feet social distancing between groups.
Facilities/venues ARE REQUIRED to install signage and communicate with spectators on social distancing, facial coverings and hygiene.
Facilities/venues ARE REQUIRED to designate a Compliance Officer who is responsible for the compliance with the Sports Order.
Facilities/venues ARE REQUIRED to disinfect and clean completion and high contact areas frequently.
Participants not in the event and outside the competition area (events are upcoming or completed) are required to be socially distanced (as close to six feet as possible).
Team huddles without physical distancing are prohibited.
Bring a full water bottle to avoid touching a tap or water fountain handle.
Do not shake hands with officials, players or coaches.
