Running Events5:15pm (possibly sooner)
Entry Fee: $125, please send entry fee ahead of time, or make arrangements to bring check with you to event.
Running Events: 4 athletes per team
Field Events: 2 athletes per team, their result will be combined to score.
Attempts: 4 attempts and no finals for Long Jump, Shot Put, and Discus
Scoring: 10-8-6-4-3-2-1 for all events
Starting Blocks: These will be provided
Batons: Teams are to provide their own batons for races
Track Markings: Please use cut tennis balls and chalk
Emergency: Rescue squad on site and Athletic Trainer on site
Spikes: 1/8 Please inform athletes that there are to be no spikes in the stands
Bull Pen: West end of track near restrooms
Warm-ups: Allowed in the infield prior to event
Non-participants: Stay off the football field during events
Awards: Medals for first and second place; ribbons for 3rd to 6th
Parking: Bus parking will west of football field by bus barn
Admission: $5.00 for adults/ $3 for students/seniors
Concessions: Ansonia Athletic Boosters/each coach will get a ticket for free sandwich
Camps: Allowed to the East of the long jump pit and to the North side of track. No bleacher camps please.
