Entry Information:

Entries Must be submitted online using oh.milesplit.com. 

2 Entries per event. The entry opens on Monday,April 24th at 8:00 AM and closes on Tuesday , May 2nd at 7pm.  Scratches and substitutions can be made at the meet.

Entry Fee: 

$ 100-Boys Team/ $100- Girls Team or $ 200 per school

Field events will start at 4:30pm, 4x8 5:30pm

Admission

  • Adults / Students - $5.00 

    Children under the age of 5 and Senior Citizens are free of charge.

  • Online ticketing sales only, no cash tickets available at the gate, information provided. Tickets can be purchased at lakesidedragons.org 

  • No passes will be accepted.

  • Administrators are to sign in at the gate.

Concessions: 

The AACS Music Boosters will operate a concession stand with a wide

variety of refreshments.  

T-Shirts

Meet T-shirts will be sold for $15.00 There are limited quantities, so first come, first served. 

Timing and Awards:

  • Automatic Timing will be utilized for the meet. Wolf Creek Race Management will automatically seed each event.  Please put accurate seed times.

  • Fully Automated timing (FAT) systems will be used.

  • Results will be posted at the press box

  • 1st Place Trophy to rotate year to year

Equipment:

  • Blocks willNOT be provided, schools are to bring their own.

  • No tape on the track surface, use tennis balls or sticks. (Bring your own)

  • No spikes longer than that includes blocks

  • Weigh In for Shot Put and Discus will be announced.

Conference Worker Assignments: Site manager needs the name of your field event workers no later than Tuesday, May 2 to be added to the pass list and gain free entry.

Scoring: 

  • Individual Events-(7 teams) and 7 score- 10,8,6,4,3,2,1

  • Relay Events-7 score- 10,8,6,4,3,2,1

Field Events: 

In case of inclement weather, towels will not be provided. It is the responsibility of each school to furnish their own towels.

  • *Long Jump-Open Pit (girls 4:30-5:30pm) (boys 5:30-6:30pm)

  • *If girls finish before 5:30pm then the boys warm ups will begin immediately

  • *4 jumps- No Finals

  • Shot Put/Discus- 4 throws 

  • Shot-Boys followed by the girls

  • Discus-Girls followed by the boys

  • High Jump-Boys followed by the girls

Team Camps: All teams set up camps in the visitor bleachers.

COMPETITIVE AREA

The competitive area will be areas in and around the track and all areas outside the track where the field events are being contested.  All areas where competition is being conducted for running and field event competitions will be designated as competitive areas.  FOR THE SAFETY OF THE ATHLETES, ELECTRONIC DEVICES ARE PROHIBITED IN THESE AREAS OF COMPETITION (CELL PHONES, iPODS, MP3 PLAYERS, ETC)! 

RESTRICTIVE AREA

All spectators and non-participants are to leave the area inside the track before the running events begin.  Coaches are permitted to be inside the fence area once the running begins.  Coaches with competitors in the field events within the fence may meet with the competitor on the track near the competition area.  Any violation of this notice, may lead to the DQ of your competitor.  ONLY ATHLETES THAT ARE WARMING UP FOR OR COMPETING ARE ALLOWED INSIDE THE FENCED AREA!  PEOPLE THAT ARE NOT COMPETING OR WARMING UP ARE NOT ALLOWED ON THE FIELD!  Non-competing athletes should be seated in the stands.

JERSEY

Jerseys are to be tucked into the shorts (unless an approved singlet uniform is worn).
