Meet Information
WELCOME
to the 2023 Ashland & Holmes County Track & Field Invitational presented by Pediatric Consultants! We want to give you a little information about the history of this meet. Eighteen years ago the coaches of Ashland Countys Middle School Track & Field teams dialogued about creating a meet that would showcase the talent of our county and also give every student-athlete the opportunity to compete on the big stage. This year, 2023, is the 10th year that Holmes County has joined the meet.
Many middle school track & field meets today that are invitationals limit the number of athletes a school can enter into each event (usually 2 or 3 max). We wanted this meet to be different. Because we are at or near the end of each schools season, this is an opportunity for athletes to better themselves one final time. Every athlete from every school competes (in up to three events each).
Team awards include trophies to the top 3 teams on both the boys & girls side. The top 3 athletes in each event will be awarded with medals, while places 4-8 will receive ribbons.
