CROSS COUNTRY INVITATIONAL
AT SIDNEY HIGH SCHOOL
Saturday, September 26th, 2009
SCHEDULE:
8:30 a.m. Middle School Boys (2 miles)
9:00 a.m. Middle School Girls (2 miles)
9:30 a.m. High School Girls Varsity
10:10 a.m. High School Boys Varsity
10:40 a.m. High School Girls JV (If needed)
11:20 a.m. High School Boys JV (If needed)
11:50 a.m. Awards
The Course: Course maps are included. Runners are permitted to be within 3 ft. of any paved path to allow spikes to be worn. The start of each race will be at the southwest corner of the campus, outside the soccer stadium.
REGISTRATION: Mike Chatfield at finishtiming.com is handling the registration for the Invitational. To register teams go to www.finishtiming.com. Deadline is Thursday, Sept. 24th, at 9:00 PM. No changes will be permitted the day of the Invitational. If you have questions, please call Mike Chatfield 937-215-6299 or email him mike@finishtiming.com
TEAM CAMPS: The soccer stadium area will be available for spectators and teams. Team camps can be set up around the track. When reporting to the start use the gate in front of the press box on the west side of the track. Concessions and restrooms will also be available in the soccer stadium area.
MEDICAL: Medical coverage will be available for the whole event by Kettering Sports Medicine Center, and our area rescue squad.
BUS PARKING: TEAM BUSES WILL PARK IN FRONT OF THE STADIUM. All buses need to enter the stadium area from the 4th Avenue entrance and drop off teams. Stadium Parking will be buses and reserved ONLY!
RESULTS: Result sheets will be available to all after the race. The Dayton Daily News, Sidney Daily News, and Lima News will be provided with meet results.
AWARDS
First thru twenty receives a numbered ribbon. Trophies to winner and runner-up team in varsity and middle school races. Medallions to the fastest performer (boy and girl) in each grade level.
