Cant Stop Running JHTrack & Field Invitational

State Qualifier- Troy Memorial Stadium

Wed. April 24, 2024- 4:30pm

GENERAL INFORMATION:

1. Competing schools: Bethel, Bradford, Covington, Miami East, Milton-Union Newton, Piqua, Tipp, Troy Christian, Troy.

1. There is a $250.00 Entry fee Payable to Troy Schools by April 30th, 2024.  After this date, there will be a late fee charged.  (New Rate-$300 after April 30th.)

1. There will be a short coaches meeting at approximately 4:00pm.

1. Only coned-shaped spikes are allowed.

1. Bull-Pen will be located at the North-East corner of the track.

1. Team Camp set-up will be on the South Side of the Stadium.  (Visitor side)

1. ALL ATHLETES, MANAGERS AND COACHES ARE REQUIRED TO STAY OFF THE FOOTBALL FIELD.  Only vaulters, high jumpers, and long jumpers should be in the infield.

1. There will be 3 calls for each event.  First Call- 15 min., Second Call- 10 min.

Third Call and Final Call- 5 min.

1. All lane assignments will be pre-drawn by the meet manager.

1. Remind your athletes that running events have priority over field events.  If a contestant must leave a field event to run, it is his/her responsibility to inform the event judge.  

Coaches, Please help withthis.

1. Scoring will be 10-8-6-4-2-1

1. Encourage your athletes to stay in their lanes at the end of a race. 

1. Awards/trophies will be awarded to the first place boys and girls teams.  Ribbons will be given to 1st-3rd places.

1. The maximum number of events for each individual is 3.

1. Only 7th and 8th graders may participate.  Following OHSAA State Meet Requirements.

1. All  events are 2 person per entry. 

1. Admission prices for spectators will be:  Students $6.00
