HOW TO ENTER:

  • All entries must be submitted online at oh.milesplit.com/calendar by the deadline listed.

  • Individual Events: $30 per athlete - entered in no more than four individual events

  • Relay Events: $30 for each relay team

  • The entry fee for a team (10 athletes or more) is $300 per gender. Therefore, the maximum entry fee for a combined boys' and girls' team is $600.

All entries (individual or team) must be paid by check, cash, or credit card. Make checks payable to Oberlin College. Cash and credit card payments must be paid upon arriving to the meet. Checks can be paid at the meet or mailed to the following address:

  • We will NOT accept telephone entries.
  • There will be ABSOLUTELY NO ENTRIES ACCEPTED THE DAY OF THE MEET!
  • An athlete may not enter more than 4 individual events.

  • THERE IS NO ENTRY LIMIT PER TEAM.

  • We will attempt to accept all entries submitted by the deadline. However, meet management reserves the right to limit field sizes based upon the number of entries submitted.

  • The entry fee is calculated based on the number of entries submitted. If you scratch someone after the deadline you will still be responsible for that entry.

  • There are no refunds for athletes who do not compete or scratch after the entry deadline.

TIMING: FINISHLYNX

STARTING MECHANISM: 

We will be using an electronic starting wand rather than a starter's pistol to start the running events. The sound produced is similar to an explosion sound and is amplified by a speaker system.

IMPLEMENT WEIGH-INS: Weigh-ins for throws implements will take place at the north end of the field house by the garage door. All implements must be weighed in between 8:15am - 10:30am.

CLERKING: Check-in for all running events will take place at the north end of the field house by the garage door.

FACILITY:  200 Meter track with six lanes on the oval and eight lanes on the straight.

High Jump: Take off on track. Approach on rubber matting.

Pole Vault: rubber runway

2 long/triple jump pits

Girls triple jump boards (west pit) - 24'/28'/32'

Boys triple jump boards (east pit) - 28'/32'/36'

Gill Weight Cage; wooden circle

Team Camps can be set up on the infield.

No food will be permitted in the field house. Clear beverages only.

No duct tape marks permitted on the track.

SPIKE RULE: Eighth (1/8) inch pyramid only. No needles, no Christmas trees. NO SPIKES ON THE INFIELD SURFACE, GYM, OR HALLWAY!

BLOCKS: Only Oberlin starting blocks are permitted. Both Newton and Gill blocks will be available for athletes to use.
