Welcome to the 2024 Statesmen XC Classic!
New Hope Christian Academy is excited to offer a thrilling night of cross country racing for all ages! For teams & individuals in search of an electrifying atmosphere & a flat, fast course conducive to running blazing PR's, look no further.
The Statesmen XC Classic is a meet unlike any other in the southern Ohio region. With excellent competition, a fully-lit course & music along the way, we provide an exceptional racing experience unparalleled by local competition. Not to mention, this meet is scheduled on the first Saturday evening in October, offering crisp temperatures & the late-season fitness to ensure the night will be marked with fast times.
Races will be available for elementary students on up to high school & we even offer a community 5k for adults excited about trying out cross country!
The schedule of events will proceed as follows:
5:00pm - Community 5k
5:45pm - Youth 1 Mile Run
6:00pm - Girls Middle School Race
6:30pm - Boys Middle School Race
7:00pm - Girls Championship Race
7:45pm - Boys Championship Race
8:30pm - Awards Ceremony (Held Indoors)
Awards will be given to the top 15 finishers for each gender in the high school & middle school races. Top 2 teams in the middle & high school division races will also take home a trophy. Finishers awards will be given out to all participants of the Youth 1 Mile Run. Top 3 awards will be given out to each gender's top finishers in the Community 5k.
Spectator parking will cost $15/car, entry to the meet is free to spectators.
All team transportation & participants of the Community 5k will receive free parking.
Registration closes Thursday, October 3rd at 9:00pm.
