FINDLAY, OH – Three individuals scored event titles as the University of Toledo's track team began its indoor slate with a good performance at the Findlay Oiler Opener on Saturday. Junior Amanda Kaverman (Sylvania, OH) took first in the 300 meters with a time of 40.75, besting Central State's Brittany Brown by over half of a second. Junior Kimara Morgan (Columbus, OH) placed third in the event in 41.79.

The Marshall University women's track and field team had a very solid showing in the first meet of the season as the Herd had six members reach the finals at the Oiler Open on the campus of Findlay University Saturday afternoon.
Three RedHawks won individual events and the Miami University women's track and field team also claimed top billing in the 4x400 meter relay Saturday at the Malcolm Athletic Center on the second and final day of the Oiler Opener, hosted by the University of Findlay.
CINCINNATI- The Xavier men's and women's track and infield started off their indoor season in style breaking five school records at the Oiler Invitational. The competition was held at the Malcolm Athletic Center located on the University of Findlay campus. Sophomore Brian Armstrong broke two records, while junior Tommy Kauffmann, sophomore Emily Tyler and freshman Kristen Bennett each shattered records.
The University of Dayton women's track team entered the 2009-2010 season with high hopes and did not disappoint in the season opener at the University of Findlay on Friday and Saturday. Although the event featured no team scoring the Flyers were able to win three of the events they participated in, and saw junior Mallory Barnes fire off a school record distance in the weight throw.
Indoor Track Season began this weekend and most West Virginia Universities and Colleges opened their Indoor Track schedule at various meets. TheThundering Herd from Marshall University participated in the Oiler Opener held at the University of Findlay in Findlay, Ohio. West Virginia University Mountaineers hosted the WVU Holiday Classic. In addition to WVU, others participating were Glenville State College, West Virginia Wesleyan, and WVIAC member Seton Hill. The Marietta College First Glimpse had WVIAC members Concord University, Mountain State University, University of Charleston, and West Liberty State College. Check out the results.
