Meet Volunteers
In addition to Lutheran West High School coaches and student-athlete volunteers, each school will provide 3 adult volunteers to help with the meet. Coaches will assist with relay exchange zones.
Volunteer Assignments: (subject to change)
Long Jump (4 adults needed) - St. Paul
High Jump (2 adults needed) - Bethany
Shot Put (2 adults needed) - Royal Redeemer
Discus (2 adults needed) - Redeemer Christian
Softball Throw (2 adults needed) - Luther Memorial
Standing Broad Jump (2 adults needed) - Bethel Christian
Timers (6 adults needed) - 1 adult from each participating school
Timing System
7/8th grade running events will be timed with an automatic timing system called SprintTimer operated by Lutheran West High School volunteers.
5/6th grade running events will be timed with the traditional Ultrak L10 plunger timing system. This system also will be the backup timing system to the SprintTimer system.
Entry Information & Deadlines
General Entry Information
7/8th Grade Teams: Use the online MileSplit Registration platform only. Unlimited entries in each event per team including relays. 4 events per athlete plus an additional relays. Seed them fas to slow.
MileSplit Entry Instructions:
- Set-up a FREE MileSplit account HERE
- Claim Your Team Do this by no later than Tuesday, MAY 7, 2024. Meet invites will be sent to the coaches' email addresses associated with your team on Thursday, May 9, 2024
- Upload your team roster Use their HIGH SCHOOL graduation year for each athlete. (8th - 2028, 7th - 2029 6th - 2030 and 5th - 2031)
- Go to the Lutheran Middle School Championship OHMileSplit Meet Page to submit your entries
5/6th Grade Teams: Manfred Dill will email entry information to coaches with the details. Use the MileSplit registration process for any 5/6th graders who will compete in the following 7/8th grade events: 1600m, 800m, and 200m hurdles. Enter these athletes on your MileSplit roster and enter them in these events only using MileSplit.
Entry Deadline. Entries are due by Thursday, May 9, 2024, at 11pm. Please make sure all possible competitors are entered on your MileSplit roster.
Substitutions
Any replacements made on the day of meet must be submitted by 11:00am at the finish line tent in writing. Any meet day runner substitutions will be placed in the same heat and lane as the runner being replaced. Relay substitutions will be only if a meet record is set to reflect the correct names in the results.

Scoring: 1st through 8th places will be scored. Scoring will be 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1.

Heats will run fast to slow with 7/8th grade heats first followed by 5/6th grade heats

Team Camp & Athlete Information
Team Camps
Please use the visitor stands on the east side of the stadium (alongside Linden Road) or the grassy area to the north of the visitor stands for all team camps. Do not set-up team camps in the home stands. Home stands are reserved for spectators only.
Athletes
Only competitors warming-up and competing are allowed on the infield and track. All others must be outside of the infield area. No electronic devices or headphones/earbuds are allowed in the competition area. Athletes in violation of this rule will be removed from the competition area immediately and may be subject to ejection from the meet.
Inclement Weather Plan. If inclement weather occurs, teams must return to their buses or enter the Lutheran West building as directed by school officials.

Concessions
A fully stocked concession stand will be open. All proceeds benefit the Lutheran West Track & Field Program.
