JV GWOC TRACK & FIELD MEET
Centerville High School
Saturday May 10, 2025
**8:30 am start time field events & 8:45 am running
Who:
All GWOC track & field athletes who will not be running
at the varsity GWOC Championships next week.
Time Schedule:
Field events start @ 8:30 am with the
boys discus, long jump, high jump & pole vault and
girls high jump, long jump, pole vault, discus & shot put.
We will throw discus at the same time in two different circles
Boys shot put will be after the girls (No hammer)
Running events start at 8:45 am with the 100/110 hurdles, the 4 x 800 WILL NOT be run
All OHSAA and NFHS rules apply. Athletes are only permitted to enter 4 events.
No steeple this year, just GWOC order of events the 4x8.
School Responsibilitys:
Each school will be asked to run a field event, and
provide one exchange judge or clerk.
NO officials are hired for this meet at the request of the coaches. (Starter provided by host school)
This meet is completely run by the coaches.
We will have all tape measures and clipboards/paper work here waiting for you.
Meet Info:
No locker rooms available
Concession stand will be open (Elk Track t-shirts on sale)
Team camps on the home side- please stay away from the start line
4 throws & 4 jumps- no finals
Starting heights will be set at the meet
Goal:
Provide an efficient way for kids to complete their season
in a positive and competitive situation.
ALL ENTRIES & RESULTS WILL BE DONE ON FINISHTIMING!
