Online Registration Instructions

MEET INFORMATION

Date: February 1, 2025

Please note:-weight throw--boys at 9:30; shot, all other field events and running events-10:00 a.m. 

-entries will be limited to 6 from each team for the 60m dash and hurdles all throws and horizontal jumps

-60m Dash and 60m Hurdles are timed finals-no prelims

Time: 9:30 a.m. boys weight throw followed by girls. All other Field Events & Running-10:00 a.m.

Events:60 meter dash, 60 meter hurdles, 200 meters,400 meters,800 meters, 1600 meters, 3200 meters,4 x 200 relay, 4 x 400 relay, 4 x800 relay, High Jump, Long Jump, Triple Jump, Pole Vault, Shot Put, Weight Throw.

 

Time Schedule

 9:30 a.m. Weight throw (boys) followed by girls

10:00 a.m.(all throws and jumping events)

Long Jump G then B

Triple Jump G then B (to follow Long Jump)

Pole Vault B then G

High Jump B then G

Shot B then G at conclusion of Weight Throw

 

10:00 a.m. (Rolling Schedule-girls will compete first in each running event)

Entries & Entry Procedure: 

Entries must be submitted online using https://oh.milesplit.com/. Meet name Ohio Northern High School Meet #2. The online entry window will open at 8:00 AM on Monday, December 16 and close precisely at 4:00 PM, on January 29th. Specific online entry instructions will be posted on the website.  

 

Participants are limited to current high school athletes only. There are neither divisions nor event sections established for athletes at the Jr. high or younger, college or beyond. This is the only way entries will be accepted. Entries in the hurdle events and 60m dashes will have a limit of 6 from each team. There will be no "Day of Meet" entries. Entry Fee: 

Entry Fee is a flat fee of $15.00 per athlete and $20.00 per relay with a team maximum of $150 regardless of the number of entrants or school maximum of $300 with a boys and girls team of at least 15 each

Entry Fees: Will be done online through Milesplit. Cost will be based upon entries, not participation.

Admission Charge:

There will be an admission charge of $5.00 per adult; children 10 and under free.

Sports Center Facilities:

Track:200 Meter Mondo Super X surface with

thirty-six inch lanes on the oval. Eight forty-two inch lanes on the

straight. Only 1/8 inch exposed pyramid spikes will be permitted on the track

surface.NO PINS OR NEEDLES.

Long Jump: Distance from pit to the board is seven feet. Pit is 27' by 9'.Runway is located in lane six of the backstretch. The approach is 190 feet.

Triple Jump: Painted boards at 26', 30', 34', 38', 42', we can put a tape board down at 20' or 24' if needed.

High Jump: Located on the infield of the track. Spacious area. Mondo Court surface.

Pole Vault: Located on the infield of the track. Runway is "rollout" Mondo Super-X surface. Distance of runway is 140 feet. Pit is located directly in front of our elevated seating.

Shot Put/Weight: Events will be contested in the track infield. Wooden recessed circle, and throwing cage.

Timing System :All events will be timed with Ohio Northern University's Finish Lynx timing system.

Starting Blocks :Starting blocks will be provided by Ohio Northern University.

Seating: Seating capacity of the Sports Center is 1,000 spectators .All spectators seating is located on the outside of the track surface. Over flow seating for coaches and athletes will be in the infield on the back stretch.

Team camps can go in the infield and alternative locations will be offered if space becomes limited. 
Please park in the ONU parking lots and not across the street at the Medical Center, you will get towed.
