We will not have an open race for either boys or girls. Not all schools have full teams, but want their athletes to run against the varsity competition.
The top 7 runners per team will be your varsity runners.
Teams:Dalton,Norwayne,Hiland,Northwestern,Orrville,Central Christian, Smithville,Triway,Chippewa, Wooster, West Holmes,Waynedale Wooster Christian,Rittman,Kingsway
Awards:To be presented as soon as possible after the MS boys race.
Team:1st Place - Trophy(boys/girls varsity)
2nd Place - Trophy(boys/girls varsity)
Individual:The top ten runners in both the boys and girls race will get a medal.
Jr.High Team:1st Place - Plaque(boys/girls)
Individual:The top ten runners in both the boys and girls race will get a medal.
Entry Fee:High School: $75.00 per team ($150.00 for both boys and girls) if you have at least 7 runners on each the boys and girls team. ($10/runner if you do not have a full team).
Jr.High: $65.00 per team ($130.00 for both boys and girls) if you have at least 7 runners on each the boys and girls team. ($10/runner if you do not have a full team).

Bus Drop off: Bus Drop off in the bus loop off Ella Street. Then park on the NORTH SIDE OF HIGH SCHOOL in the main lot. The city of Orrville has asked for no parking on Hall street. PLEASE PASS ON TO YOUR BUS GARAGE/DRIVERS AND COACHES.
Spectator parking: Spectator please park on Ella St., at lower/upper park or in the parking lot on north side of the school. Limited handicapped parking will be provided on south side of High School.
Dogs are prohibited in Orr Park. You may keep your dog on school property but please stay out of the park.
T-Shirts: We will have shirts for purchase.
Concessions:Concession Stand will be open with Food and Drink, along with Michaels Bakery Donuts. A Coffee Truck will be present as well
Coaches Check in: Table by the Board of Education Door on the south side of the building
*We will give you final results on Saturday and notify the Daily Record and Beacon Journal.
*There will be no duplication of awards.
*OHSAA uniform rule will be in effect.
*We will have an official starter/referee & MidOhio Race Management will be timing the event.
Team Camps: This year we are asking that teams make their camp at the bottom of Orr Park. We have many events going on that day so this will be a good place for the kids to hang out.

Information/Instructions for Coaches
COURSE:The course is lined and marked with cones or flags. Runners must go around cones or flags placed on the course. Course marshals will be stationed at points around the course. Splits will be called out at one mile and two miles.
STARTING PROCEDURE:The starting area and finish chute is clearly marked. Runners should report to the starting line 10 minutes before the scheduled race time.
FINISH PROCEDURES FOR BOYS/GIRLS RACES:Handle scoring for your varsity runners and open runners by following these procedures:
Important Notice to Coaches!! Please follow the instructions below.
Enclosed in your packet:
A list of your athletes and the bib numbers they are to wear on the front of their singlet
Secure the number with 4 safety pins. One pin on each corner of the number.
Please take care to assign the correct number to each athlete. There are no names on the numbers! You are welcome to write the name on the back of the number if that helps.
If you need to make changes to the assignment of numbers you must let us know at the finish line tent.
