D3 Girls 2015 Top 20 XC Team Preview Mark Stonecipher Jul 24, 2015

As we move through the summer, the 2015 XC season looms just ahead of us. Predictions for the season? They are always fun, very subjective and so dependent upon the answers to lots of questions; who's back, who's healthy, will an incoming freshman have an impact or someone coming from another sport who has never run XC before, athletes moving in and out of school districts and just how much sometimes, on who has improved and who hasn't. Some athletes had dramatic improvements on the track that are not reflective of their 5K XC times. That being said, the next series of articles will take a look at just who may be the best boys and girls teams in each division. We'll follow that with Divisional Pre-Season Individual rankings. The rankings are based solely upon times run in 2014. For the Team Rankings, we have taken the top 7 returners from each team and scored as a meet. Love to have your feedback, comments and discussion.
