In this weeks edition of From Gray to Gold, Gray Horn describes the transition periods that he had to go through, both high school to college, and college to the pro game. he will fill you in on all of the lessons he had to learn, and everything that he had to teach myself to cope with these changes.
Out of Waynesfield-Goshen High School, Gray Horn won 3 State titles, 8 Regional titles, and was All Ohio 8 times. He helped lead his team to the 2006 State Title, which was Waynesfield-Goshen’s first ever. What really gained him attention nation-wide was his 5 gold medals throughout his career at the Junior Olympic Championships, and his gold medal at the 2008 Nike Indoor Championships. Gray was also an All State Tight End in football. Gray will talk about his process, the training, and the mental approaches I have taken to become a professional track and field athlete, through the Decathlon.
