This is about our Senior Boys. Every year Ohio has some of the Nations best High School boys Cross Country runners. We had some great performances last weekend at the State Meet. Eight Senior boys ran Top 30 times for the week and it was a hugh weekend of State Meets across the country.

The St. Ignatius boys won the Seeded Boys Team race at the Trinity/Valkyrie Invitational in Louisville, Ky.

Dublin Jerome Sr. Bradley Davis is ranked #2 of the D1 Boys returners with his 15:29.50 run at Tiffin last year. Davis was injured later in the year and did not run at State. In 2013 he was 37th with a 16:14.71. He was 3rd in the 2015 OATCCC 3,200 with a time of 9:24.02

In the D3 Girl's Varsity race, Coldwater Sr. Sarah Kanney was pushed by Liberty Center Sr. Brittany Atkinson and ran a state leading time of 17:57.87. Atkinson was under the 18 minute mark as well, running 17:50.78. On the boy's side, St. Xavier Sr. Michael Vitucci ran a State leading 15:22.26 as he led St. Ignatius Jr. Luke Wagner (2nd 15:28.12) and Dublin Jerome Jr. Bradley Davis (3rd 15:29.50) to the finish. In the D2 Girl's race, Granville Jr. Micaela DeGenaro and Sr. Claire Lamb ran 6th and 7th as they led Granville in an upset of SVSM, scoring 70 to SVSM's 73. In the D1 Boy's race, St. Ignatius and St. Xavier ran to a tie with 102 points.
The 2009 version of the MMOC has all the key ingredients for a great day of elite team and individual cross country competition. The MMOC has a festive atmosphere with loud music, top ranked teams, great depth, top individuals from several states and a fan friendly course that has yielded some blazing times in years past.
