Ohio's Top 10 Boys Performances of the week (4/27-5/2) Mark Stonecipher May 5, 2015

As spring arrives and our Ohio weather improves, so do the times and marks in Ohio. Seven new Ohio #1's were run over last weekend. Gray also leads the State in the 100 (10.59), but Mayfield Sr. Anthony Isabella, the 60m OATCCC Champion, ran an OH #2 in the 60 with a 10.65. CVCA Sr. Ryan Adams had an impressive weekend. He ran an OH #1 4:11.51 in the 1600 and came back in the 800 with a 1:52.13, OH #2. Hilliard Davidson Sr. Colin Burdette ran an OH #1 9:01.76 in the 3,200. On the relay side, the Mason boys set two OH #1's. In the 4x100, they ran 41.82. In the 4x400, they ran 3:18.12. SVSM's boys set a new OH #1 in the 4x800 with a time of 7:59.81.

Division I boys track: Pickerington North wins first title May 26, 2012

PICKERINGTON — For at least 20 minutes after the final event in the Division I regional boys track meet yesterday, Pickerington North coach Dave Spring sat on the football field nervously awaiting some kind of answer from referees, rival coaches — anybody — as to who won the team championship. Panthers junior hurdler Desmond Palmer took on the detective role, asking athletes from rival teams what happened to cause a yellow flag to be raised in the 1,600-meter relay. Finally, after a lengthy discussion by meet officials, no one was disqualified, and Pickerington North — second in the relay — was awarded its first regional title.  (via http://www.dispatch.com/)
