9/28 WKND Feature: Henderson shows depth - Clahane & Brehm roll at Carlisle

Cumberland Valley sophomore Mady Clahane took her running career to a new level at the Carlisle Invitational - beating a returning Foot Lock Finalist, and setting the fastest time on new course or old in the 21st edition of the Carlisle Invitational. In the boys Challenge race, Carlisle junior Kyle Brehm defended his home turf in a very fast 15:28.

Carmel Competes in 32nd Annual Culver Academies Cross Country Invitational

Carmel competed in Saturday's 32nd Annual Culver Academies Cross Country Invitational and won with 57 points.

Valparaiso Struggles in Culver Boys Elite Race

For the first time, Culver Academies increased participation in their annual cross country invitational by adding boys and girls elite races. The added races featured most of the top-ranked teams in Indiana, plus some from adjoining states. (via posttrib.suntimes.com)

9/28 WKND: Clahane 17:26! Henderson cruises w/o #1 @ Carlisle!!! Unionville beats FM!!!

We've reached the halfway point of the 2013 cross country season and Carlisle will mark the occassion with their big annual invitational. A handful of PA teams will run through Six Flags in New Jersey while Unionville will challenge themselves against the seven time defending national champions Fayetteville-Manlius of New York at the McQuaid Invitational. Kennedy Weisner of Elk County Catholic. She is the defending champion and course record holder.

Midwest Meet of Champions Preview

The Midwest Meet of Champions continues to attract the top teams to this elite cross country competition each year.  The 2013 field is once again filled with many of the top distance runners and cross country teams in the region.  Look for some fantastic races on Saturday!

St. Xavier Invitational Preview - Olympian Duane Solomon to appear at St. Xavier Invitational

One of the biggest high school running events in the Midwest is getting a big name visitor this Saturday, when reigning American champion and Olympic 4th-place finisher Duane Solomon visits the St. Xavier Invitational presented by Saucony and Fleet Feet Sports. At one of the premier scholastic running events in southwest Ohio, the Saucony-sponsored athlete will connect with the future of the sport, signing autographs and presenting the awards to the day's top competitors.
