Mid-East Cross Country Championships- Senior's. Do you have what it takes to run for Team Ohio?

Last year's girls winner was Anna Rohrer of Mishawaka, In. Rohrer is at Notre Dame now, but was the 2012 and 2104 Foot Locker XC National Champion (17:13), the 2015 NBNI (16:10.79) and NBON (16:16>97) 5K Champion and the 2015 Brooks PR 2-Mile Champion (9:59.96).

The Mid-East Cross-Country Championships would like to extend an invitation to Senior XC Athletes to apply for a spot on the Team Ohio roster for our 2015 cross-country competition. Team Ohio won the boys team championship in 2013 but fell just short last year and the girls are defending Mid East XC Champs. Both boys and girls are looking to regain the Mid-East title in 2015!

The Mid-East Cross Country Championships presents the best high school men & women senior runners from Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, and other area states. In past years Pennsylvania, Kentucky and West Virginia have participated. The event provides an excellent regional forum that supports the athlete and college coaches looking for new talent. It is sponsored by the members of the Greater Dayton Track and Cross Country Officials Association and the Ohio Association of Track and Cross Country Coaches. The race has been held annually since 1987.

The 2015 running of the Mid East Cross Country Championships will take place on November 21, 2015, at Indian Riffle Park, Kettering, Ohio.

Twelve high school male and twelve high school female senior athletes will be selected for the team. If you are interested in competing please complete the form below. Athletes who make the team will be notified the week following the Ohio XC State Championships.
