Hyleas Fountain Visits Wayne High School

Beijing Olympic Silver Medalist, Hyleas Fountain, recently visited Wayne High School to talk about goal setting.  Hyleas related her dreams of being an Olympic athlete and what it takes to achieve your goals to select students in her hour long talk.

Students were treated to a quick highlight real of Hyleas' best performances and her Olympic competition in which she narated, telling stories and discussing her emotions and thoughts at particular times during the events. 

Hyleas talked about the importance of setting high goals, believing in yourself and that with hard work you will be able to achieve more than you believe, while relating each one of these aspects to her own life and track career. 

Hyleas even let the students and staff in attendence hold her Olympic medal, even after head track and field coach, Mike Fernandez, almost dropped it on the floor.
