About Our Team

We are in our final year as members of the Mid-State League "Ohio" Division and in the Central District of the OHSAA. Track began at Granville in 1931, and the girls team formed in 1975. Cross Country began in 1967, and the girls followed in 1981.

In 2013-14 we will be competing in the Licking County League where we were members until 1992.

We have had 3 individual state champions and 1 relay team state champion. Top school finish in state meet as a team came in 2002 when the girls finished as Runner-Up and the boys placed 7th. The boys placed 6th in 1986.

Last March the girls placed 3rd in the OATCCC Indoor State Meet at the University of Akron.
