-Tell us how your summer training is going?:
Training is going really well. We have been building up our mileage and are now starting to add in harder workouts to get ready for races.
-What are your goals for the upcoming season?:
My time goal for the upcoming season is to go sub 17:39, but I also hope to stay positive throughout all of my runs because it makes it more fun for everyone on the team if there is always positive energy.
-How long have you been running and how did you get started?:
I started running Cross Country and Track in 7th grade. This is mainly because in 6th we had to run a mile time trial in gym and they told me I had broken the school record with a time of 5:58. I was shocked and I could not feel my legs the rest of the day, but I still decided to run in Junior High
-Will you be competing anywhere out of state this season?:
Yes, I plan on competing at Foot Locker Regionals in Kenosha, Wisconsin
-What is your favorite course to run in Ohio?:
My favorite course that we run is at Mason because it is such a fun race with great competitors, trails and obstacles like a creek and hay- bales.
-What is the toughest course to run in Ohio?:
The toughest course to run is the regional meet held in Troy because there are always really strong winds and strong competitors.
-What meet during the regular season do you put extra emphasize on to compete well at?:
GWOC (Greater Western Ohio Conference) meet because it is our conference meet and our team always wants to do well at that.
-What is your favorite cross country race so far in your high school career?:
My favorite cross country race so far has to be the State meet last year because of the great support I had from my teammates, coaches, family, friends and the whole school. It was such a neat experience it, and I could not have done it without the people I had supporting me through it all.
-Favorite cross country memory?:
The team group hugs after the state meets my freshmen and junior year
-When you are not running what is your favorite thing to do?:
Be with my family and friends.

Ryan Hall because he is open about his faith and I would like to talk to him about how he brings that faith into his running.

I currently hold 8 school records for running at Lebanon High School (800m, 1600m, 3200m, 5000m, 4 x 800m, 4 x 1600m, Distance Medley, and Sprint Medley).
