KY action in Ohio: Southard 2nd at Mason (OH), Assumption & Trinity 2nd, KY 9 of top 21 Boys

Many of Kentucky's best went north to the Mason Invitational in Ohio.  Five top five schools between the boys and girls were in attendance.

Mason Cross Country Invitational

This year's Mason Invitational Cross Country Meet promises to be as good as ever with a new record number of athletes and teams competing.  This year the meet boasts teams from Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana and South Carolina for the first time.  The course is in great shape, the summer rains have provided some nice grass, but is it still hard enough to run fast.   On the boys side, the meet looks like a showdown between the best of Ohio vs. the best of Kentucky.

Week 2 of the PA Cross Country season will be the opening weekend for many teams across the state. PennTrackXC will host the 5th edition of their annual cross country invitational at Kutztown University and Baldwin will host the 10th annual Red, White and Blue Invitational.
